Tribulation

1 Thessalonians 5:1-9  But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.  2  For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.  3  For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.  4  But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.  5  You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.  6  Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.  7  For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.  8  But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.  9  For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Jesus warns about things we need to respond to.  Jesus didn't
waste any words.  It isn't negative to soberly agree with Jesus about what
must happen.  Getting ready now will make all the difference in the world
for you and your family as the intensity of world events continues to increase.
Matthew 24:7-14  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various
places.  8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.  9
 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you
will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.  10  And then many
will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.  11
 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.  12
 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
 13  But he who endures to the end shall be saved.  14  And
this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to
all the nations, and then the end will come.

The heavens declare the glory of  God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.  2  Day unto day
utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.  3  There is
no speech nor language Where their voice
is not heard.

Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the
end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,  5  Which is
like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And
rejoices like a strong man to run its race.

heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its

The law of the LORD is perfect,

12  Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.  13  Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous
sins; Let them not have dominion over
me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.  14  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation
of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.
 

Romans 5:3-5  And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;  4  and perseverance, character; and character, hope.  5  Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.Romans 8:28-29  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  29  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

There are many promised aspects to the end time tribulation.  Primary are deception, false teaching, and the division that will create.  It is very important to understand why the Lord allows this, and what it will produce in those loyal to him AND those who are lawless.  If you won't stand now, as the Church divides, you won't stand later, as the world divides...intensity is increasing until the Lord returns.John 16:1-3  "I have told you these things so that you won't abandon your faith.  2  For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God.  3  This is because they have never known the Father or Me.
