The Temple Mount in the News (12 min)

A quick explanation of why the news events about the temple mount are SO significant:

This is the prophecy of how the Jewish leaders will invite the once rejected Messiah from the temple mount: 

Psalms 118:20-26  This is the gate of the LORD, Through which the righteous shall enter.  21  I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.  22  The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.  23  This was the LORD's doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.  24  This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.  25  Save now, I pray, O LORD; O LORD, I pray, send now prosperity.  26  Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We have blessed you from the house of the LORD.

Jesus confirmed it:

Matthew 23:37-39  "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!  38  See! Your house is left to you desolate;  39  for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, 'BLESSED is HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!' "

 

We are supposed to watch for it...and it is happening in the news right, and being marked by the third series of blood moons, which have marked each push toward this reality.

Luke 21:34-36  "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.  35  For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  36  Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."
