The Narrow Road of End Time Joy and Safety (55 min)

The tragic result of a lack of teaching of Revelation to the Church is a lack of understanding of where the safe place is in the unfolding tribulation.  There IS a safe place...it is promised over and over:

Revelation 3:10  Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Luke 21:36  Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

There is a narrow road...a "one thing" quality to getting to the safe place, described in Psalm 27:

Psalms 27:4-5  One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.  5  For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

Because there is so little Bible confidence on this subject in the Church, there are two main ditches many are falling into on both sides of the narrow road of end time safety and joy.  These are the two ditches:

1. over-optimism...those who say nothing to really do, God loves me so I am good...nope...this eschatology doesn't hold up to ANY Biblical scrutiny:

Amos 9:10  All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, 'The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.'

You must choose your end time safety, just as Lot had to CHOOSE to flee to Zoar and not look back. Many are not choosing because they think there is no danger.  They believe God will just magically make them agree with His plans...this isn't faith, it is presumption.  This is a very deep ditch.

BUT, there is an equally dangerous ditch, called 

2. FEAR.  Conspiracy thinking has left many who actually see the trouble thinking very wrong things about what to DO about the trouble:

Isaiah 8:11-15  For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:  12  "Do not say, 'A conspiracy,' Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.  13  The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow; Let Him be your fear, And let Him be your dread.  14  He will be as a sanctuary, But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense To both the houses of Israel, As a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.  15  And many among them shall stumble; They shall fall and be broken, Be snared and taken."

Conspiracy thinking, though it has elements of insight, lacks REVELATION...because it doesn't offer the NARROW PLAN of greatness, joy, and safety of the end times.

Both of these ditches... presumption and the paralyses of fear...are meant to keep us off of the narrow road of REVELATION.  This message is intended to shine some light on the road that will leave many more joyful in the time of shaking than they could really imagine right now...but the joy comes from seeing the trouble for what it really is!

The Sermon on the Mount Part 5 - Threshing, Shaking, and the Throne of David (54 min)

The Sermon on the Mount is describing the "threshing and winnowing" process Jesus came to establish to sift the earth to separate out a people who want to live under His leadership forever.  The threshing floor in the Bible becomes the place of night and day prayer to music, called David's Tabernacle.  This night and day calling on God ENTHRONED God in Israel during David's reign.  

Jesus is going to sit on David's Throne....Jesus will operate His government the same way David did...by ENTHRONING Himself on the praises of His people.  This is dynamically connected to the threshing floor of the Sermon on the Mount.  This message explores the connection of these concepts to the very purpose Jesus came to accomplish:

Matthew 3:10-12  And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  12  His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

The Sermon on the Mount Part 4 - The Antidote to Falling Away (55 min)

The Sermon on the Mount is about learning to practically pursue a "love of the truth."  This will protect the end time Church...called the Bride...from the delusion that is, even now, infecting the Church and the world.  This was promised to happen.  We desperately need to learn to love the truth....

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12  Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,  2  not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.  3  Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,  4  who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.  5  Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?  6  And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.  7  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.  8  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.  9  The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,  10  and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  11  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,  12  that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The Biblical Promise of Cities of Refuge (39 minutes)

Over and over the Bible promises that you don't have to endure the end time tribulation the way the rest of the world does.  In fact, Jesus doesn't want you to!  BUT, it isn't an escape from His plan to finish the Great Commission.  It is the narrow road of the promise given to Philadelphia...the city that has practically agreed with God that loving God with all your mind, soul, and strength REALLY DOES overflow into loving your neighbor as yourself.

Revelation 3:10  Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Many teachers are beginning to stray from Biblical truth in this hour.  It is important to know what YOU believe and why.

Sermon on the Mount Part 3 - The SAFETY of Generosity (52 minutes)

The Sermon on the Mount teaches us how to climb God's Holy Mountain to safety BEFORE the storm of the Great Tribulation makes landfall.  One of the key aspects of safety is generosity.  God doesn't need your money.  You need to break the heart ties to it before the antichrist uses your fear of money against you.

 Generosity is safety over and over in the Bible:

 Isaiah 32:7-15  Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans To destroy the poor with lying words, Even when the needy speaks justice.  8  But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand.  9  Rise up, you women who are at ease, Hear my voice; You complacent daughters, Give ear to my speech.  10  In a year and some days You will be troubled, you complacent women; For the vintage will fail, The gathering will not come.  11  Tremble, you women who are at ease; Be troubled, you complacent ones; Strip yourselves, make yourselves bare, And gird sackcloth on your waists.  12  People shall mourn upon their breasts For the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.  13  On the land of my people will come up thorns and briers, Yes, on all the happy homes in the joyous city;  14  Because the palaces will be forsaken, The bustling city will be deserted. The forts and towers will become lairs forever, A joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks— 15  Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.

 We live in the generation that will see the fullness of this promise...

Sermon on the Mount Part 2 - Introduction to the Bridal Paradigm (46 min)

The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is really telling the story of a wedding...our wedding.  The end time wedding is about legal family position, becoming sons of God.  All of creation is longing for this to happen.  There are two enemies warring against this: the gates of hell and our own flesh!

The Sermon on the Mount teaches us how to deal with our flesh and put on righteousness...glory...that we will wear forever.

If you care about the clothes you wear now, you will REALLY care about what you have chosen to wear forever!

Finding Your Place in The End Time Move of God - Psalm 19 (1 Hour 2 Minutes)

Psalms 19:1-14  To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of  God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.  2  Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.  3  There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. 

 

4  Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,  5  Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.  6  Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat. 

 

7  The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;  8  The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;  9  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.  10  More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.  11  Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward. 

 

12  Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.  13  Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.  14  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

 

The Betrayal of Egypt in the End Times and the Rise of the Antichrist (48 min)

Egypt, and the political events surrounding it, are very prominent in the Bible as prophetic signs of the end time. Understanding how the news connects to the Bible will give you insight into what to watch for and pray for.  Praying is what keeps you safe from the effects of the prophetic fulfillment of very negative prophecies...just like Lot was kept safe in the prophesied destruction of Sodom.

This message is COMPLEX.  Ask the Holy Spirit to help you hear what He is saying.  This is very important, but you have to take the time to sort it out:

Isaiah 28:9-12  "Who does the LORD think we are?" they ask. "Why does He speak to us like this? Are we little children, just recently weaned?  10  He tells us everything over and over—one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!"  11  So now God will have to speak to His people through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language!  12  God has told His people, "Here is a place of rest; let the weary rest here. This is a place of quiet rest." But they would not listen.

Note: around minute 14, I start describing Chapters 1 through 3 of Revelation. The point I wanted to make, but got lost trying to make was "the main warning Jesus gives to the pre-end time churches is to get eyes to see and ears to hear."

Revelation 2:7 "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God.

Revelation 2:11 "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death.

Revelation 2:29 "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches.

Revelation 3:6 "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches.

Revelation 3:13 "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches.

Revelation 3:22 "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches."

Revelation 3:18 So I advise you to buy gold from Me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from Me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

The Individual Response to God (29 min)

Psalms 16:1-8  A Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.  2  O my soul, you have said to the LORD, "You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You."  3  As for the saints who are on the earth, "They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight."  4  Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.  5  O LORD, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot.  6  The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.  7  I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.  8  I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

 

 

Psalms 14:1-7  To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart,"There is no God." They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.  2  The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.  3  They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one.  4  Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on the LORD?  5  There they are in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous.  6  You shame the counsel of the poor, But the LORD is his refuge.  7  Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

 

 

Responding to Tribulation with the Purpose of God (45 min)

Romans 5:3-5  And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;  4  and perseverance, character; and character, hope.  5  Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Romans 8:28-29  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  29  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

What to Watch for #6 - Increasing Contractions (11 min)

The birthpangs have become the contractions...the contractions are the labor at home...designed to prepare the church for the delivery, which the world will feel: seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls...the final 21 contractions of delivery...

John 16:20-21  Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.  21  A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

 Romans 8:18-22  For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  19  For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.  20  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;  21  because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  22  For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.

What comes next?...The Nature of Desolation (27 min)

Sanctification...getting inhabited by the Lord...is protection from desolation, which is the result of breaking the bonds of His leadership.

The Old Plan is the ONLY Plan for the End Times (29 min)

You don't need new information to understand what to do in this hour.  You don't need to wear yourself out in worry and confusion or silly faddish preparations like it is Y2K all over again.  There is a really simple and PROVEN plan that works, but will you believe it enough to actually put all your eggs in one basket?...put all your weight on ONE THING?

Sudden Destruction is Promised to Come (3 min)

1 Corinthians 14:8  For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?

 

1 Thessalonians 5:1-5  But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.  2  For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.  3  For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.  4  But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.  5  You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

 

Luke 21:34-36  "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.  35  For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  36  Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

 

Isaiah 30:8-14  Now go, write it before them on a tablet, And note it on a scroll, That it may be for time to come, Forever and ever:  9  That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the LORD;  10  Who say to the seers, "Do not see," And to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.  11  Get out of the way, Turn aside from the path, Cause the Holy One of Israel To cease from before us."  12  Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel: "Because you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them,  13  Therefore this iniquity shall be to you Like a breach ready to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant.  14  And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, Which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments A shard to take fire from the hearth, Or to take water from the cistern."

 

If you do not listen to the warnings, you are building a fake wall of confidence around you, even though the world is SCREAMING that trouble is coming...when that wall breaks, there won't even be a shard of confidence left.  Take down the wall now so that your heart will respond and build an ark...something that doesn't keep the flood out, but rather floats on it!  You can't stop the flood, or delay the flood, of Jesus' return.  You are supposed to love it...to hasten it.

 

David's Tabernacle IS the ark.

 

·         Noah built an ark and the same flood that killed everyone else lifted him to safety

·         Moses was placed in an ark and drawn out of the water to become a deliverer to God's people

·         David built a tent for the ark of the covenant.  David's Tabernacle, according to every prophet, was for ALL nations:

 

Acts 15:15-17  And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:  16  'AFTER THIS I WILL RETURN AND WILL REBUILD THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID, WHICH HAS FALLEN DOWN; I WILL REBUILD ITS RUINS, AND I WILL SET IT UP;  17  SO THAT THE REST OF MANKIND MAY SEEK THE LORD, EVEN ALL THE GENTILES WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, SAYS THE LORD WHO DOES ALL THESE THINGS.'

 

We live in the hour this was warning of...David's Tabernacle is the barn all true grains will be stored in through the trouble:

 

Amos 9:9-12  "For surely I will command, And will sift the house of Israel among all nations, As grain is sifted in a sieve; Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground.  10  All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, 'The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.'  11  "On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;  12  That they may possess the remnant of Edom,  And all the Gentiles who are called by My name," Says the LORD who does this thing.

What to Watch For #5 - The Emergence of the Antichrist and False Prophet Together (32 min)

The antichrist represents the most powerful political leader...the greatest political hope for humanity.  The false prophet is the most powerful (in the eyes of the world) christian religious leader...the greatest religious hope for humanity.  When they start saying and doing the same things, massive Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled.  This message is entirely grounded in Revelation 13.  Grab your Bible and turn to Rev 13 for this one.

What to Watch For #4 - Falling Away (sifting) of the Church by Division (41 min)

Many national and international Church leaders are stumbling right now.  If you know what to look for, it is easy to see and pray into.  In this hour the Church is being baited into false arguments designed to mislead her into weak places...places further from God.

 

Jesus didn't compromise on truth, but he also didn't organize political and social movements to starve out businesses or protest government actions.  Jesus said "render unto Caesar" because He had his eyes set on one greater than Caesar, food Caesar couldn't give Him, and a plan to crush every rebellious empire with worship...including Caesars!

 

Daniel 2:44-45  And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.  45  Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure."

 

The only plan that will work in this hour is the SUPERNATURAL one...the one that doesn't even get caught up in false arguments, but rather casts them down.  "Casting an argument down" doesn't mean winning it...it means seeing the arguments for what they are: a distraction from the prayer and intercession that will really take the entire earth for Jesus:

 

2 Corinthians 10:3-5  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.  4  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  5  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

What to Watch For #3 - Night and Day Prayer for Israel (36 min)

One of the primary realities of the end time Church, or Bride, is that she will love her future home as much as Jesus, her groom, does.  This message highlights the promise of this emerging in the earth.  This, IMO, is ESSENTIAL end time information.  Here are the main passages I cover in the message:

Isaiah 52:7-10  How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"  8  Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; For they shall see eye to eye When the LORD brings back Zion.  9  Break forth into joy, sing together, You waste places of Jerusalem! For the LORD has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.  10  The LORD has made bare His holy arm In the eyes of all the nations; And all the ends of the earth shall see The salvation of our God.

Isaiah 62:5-12  For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.  6  I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,  7  And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.  8  The LORD has sworn by His right hand And by the arm of His strength: "Surely I will no longer give your grain As food for your enemies; And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, For which you have labored.  9  But those who have gathered it shall eat it, And praise the LORD; Those who have brought it together shall drink it in My holy courts."  10  Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples!  11  Indeed the LORD has proclaimed To the end of the world: "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Surely your salvation is coming; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.' "  12  And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD; And you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.

 

 

Romans 10:14-19  How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?  15  And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!"  16  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?"  17  So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  18  But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: "THEIR SOUND HAS GONE OUT TO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."  19  But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says: "I WILL PROVOKE YOU TO JEALOUSY BY THOSE WHO ARE NOT A NATION, I WILL MOVE YOU TO ANGER BY A FOOLISH NATION."

 

 

Revelation 12:12-17  Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."  13  Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.  14  But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.  15  So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.  16  But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.  17  And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

 

 

What to Watch For #2 - Miraculous Provision (21 min)

There are two sides to Jesus' return. It is the "great" and "terrible" day of the Lord because the return of glory to earth is great for those reaching for glory and terrible for those resisting it.  A good thing to watch for is what happens in BOTH camps!

John 14:12-13  "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.  13  And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 17:22-23  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  23  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

What to Watch For #1 - "End Time Babylon" (USA) to Judge "Assyria" (ISIS) (21 min)

A quick message on something to watch for in the near future.  When Bashar Al-Assad falls, The US will then crush ISIS.  It will seem like peace is finally beginning to unfold, but this is actually the prelude to the worst times the earth has ever seen:

1 Thessalonians 5:1-4  But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.  2  For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.  3  For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.  4  But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

The Lord calls the end time Babylon the "Hammer of the Earth"...but He is going to see to it the hammer is destroyed, as well.  This is essential to understand.

Jeremiah 50:16-20  Cut off the sower from Babylon, And him who handles the sickle at harvest time. For fear of the oppressing sword Everyone shall turn to his own people, And everyone shall flee to his own land.  17  "Israel is like scattered sheep; The lions have driven him away. First the king of Assyria devoured him; Now at last this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has broken his bones."  18  Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, As I have punished the king of Assyria.  19  But I will bring back Israel to his home, And he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan; His soul shall be satisfied on Mount Ephraim and Gilead.  20  In those days and in that time," says the LORD, "The iniquity of Israel shall be sought, but there shall be none; And the sins of Judah, but they shall not be found; For I will pardon those whom I preserve.

Jeremiah 50:23-28  How the hammer of the whole earth has been cut apart and broken! How Babylon has become a desolation among the nations! I have laid a snare for you;  24  You have indeed been trapped, O Babylon, And you were not aware; You have been found and also caught, Because you have contended against the LORD.  25  The LORD has opened His armory, And has brought out the weapons of His indignation; For this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts In the land of the Chaldeans.  26  Come against her from the farthest border; Open her storehouses; Cast her up as heaps of ruins, And destroy her utterly; Let nothing of her be left.  27  Slay all her bulls, Let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them! For their day has come, the time of their punishment.  28  The voice of those who flee and escape from the land of Babylon Declares in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, The vengeance of His temple.

Political and Military Moves Leading to the Great Tribulation (26 min)

Mark your Bible in Daniel 11:40-45, Ezekiel 38, and Revelation 17, and let me show what the Bible describes as coming next to the Middle East, The USA, Russia, and Iran.

Very significant events are unfolding in Syria right now.  Bashar al-Assad is about to fall.  This will significantly change the middle east and usher in the destruction of ISIS, who is modern day Assyria.  Babylon will defeat Assyria, just like in ancient history, and then lay siege to Jerusalem, just like Nebuchadnezzar did.  But the Medes (Russia) and Persians (Iran) are looking to destroy Babylon...

Watch.  Pray. Be Ready!

The Knowledge of Good and Evil (27 min)

God does things in a way higher than our understanding can calculate.  The judgments of God, things like earthquakes and famines, and giving people over to the violence they want... some of these are the highest possible expressions of His love.  This is an important Biblical truth to wrestle through.  Some earthquakes will actually save a LOT of people, even though thousands die:

Revelation 11:13  In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

This message traces this truth all the way back to the garden and all the way forward to our hour.

Being Saved is not the Same as Being Ready (42 min)

Jesus told saved people to be ready.  Being saved is not the same as being ready.  Your experience of the return of Jesus will actually depend on how ready you are, not whether or not you are saved and said the prayer.  This parable describes two different kinds of saved people:

Matthew 24:44-51  Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.  45  "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?  46  Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.  47  Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.  48  But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,'  49  and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,  50  the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,  51  and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

so does this one...and there are many others like it:

Matthew 25:1-12  "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  2  Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  3  Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,  4  but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  5  But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.  6  "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!'  7  Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.  8  And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'  9  But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'  10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.  11  "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!'  12  But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.'

Ecclesiastes 7:10  Don't long for "the good old days." This is not wise.

 

 

The Bible is telling a story with a conclusion.  The Church is going somewhere.  To want to go backward to a better time in our history is to resist what God is doing in this hour.  Forward is the only way.  The Spirit and the Bride say "come"...not "come later."  The breakdown of the political power structures in the earth are all pointing to one absolute truth:  Jesus is the only one worthy to lead a global government and distribute the resources rightly.  The One who had all the wealth....who by all things were created....the one who voluntarily laid down divine privilege to be born in a feed trough...this is the one who has PROVEN His ability to redistribute the wealth of the nations...

Revelation 5:4-13  So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.  5  But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."  6  And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.  7  Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.  8  Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  9  And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,  10  And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."  11  Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,  12  saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"  13  And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"

 

The Increase of Division in the Church (39 min)

There are many promised aspects to the end time tribulation.  Primary are deception, false teaching, and the division that will create.  It is very important to understand why the Lord allows this, and what it will produce in those loyal to him AND those who are lawless.  If you won't stand now, as the Church divides, you won't stand later, as the world divides...intensity is increasing until the Lord returns.

John 16:1-3  "I have told you these things so that you won't abandon your faith.  2  For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God.  3  This is because they have never known the Father or Me.

Earthquakes, Babylon, and the Leadership of God (37 min)

Joel 2:10-12  The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness.  11  The LORD gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?  12  "Now, therefore," says the LORD, "Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning."

I mistakenly refer to the Gospel of Luke as the place where an open heaven is described at the crucifixion...I should have said "Matthew"...here is the passage:

Matthew 27:50-55  And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.  51  Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,  52  and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;  53  and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.  54  So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God!"  55  And many women who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him, were there looking on from afar,

The Moment Everything Will Change (42 min)

There is coming a moment when everything will change. There is coming a moment when life will not look the same. In an instant, life as we know it is going to change....and the change will be permanent... forever!

 This moment of existential change is described in numerous ways in the Bible...both positive and negative.  Once you learn where it falls and how it comes, it will change your entire understanding of the time you live in.  BUT, you really have to choose to see and understand it for yourself. 

This is the moment that will change everything on the planet...and it will never go back to what you now consider "normal":

Matthew 25:6-7 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’  Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

It will always take faith to see Jesus' return unfolding (32 min)

Many in the church, and then in the world, will completely miss the fact they are in the end times.  This is one of the main factors that will contribute to the promised falling away: offense from mistaken expectations.

There are many false prophets prophesying peace and safety all the while sudden destruction is coming at them like a freight train.

This message is about why this will happen and how to protect yourself from it.

There will never be enough signs to convince those who try to explain away the end time trouble...BUT, for those willing to humble themselves and simply try to see, they WILL see the entire process unfold.  Everyone gets what they want!

Matthew 16:1-4  Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.  2  He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red';  3  and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.  4  A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." And He left them and departed.

Adulterous generation is a direct reference to the Harlot Babylon.  What is the sign Jonah got?  Three and a half days of really intense trouble designed to make Him cry out.

You can do the end times the easy way...in faith...responding in obedience in advance.  Or the hard way...letting God teach using YOU as the example.  He loves us too much to not let us see, one way or the other...

The Acceleration of Time in the End Times (20 min)

It will always take faith to see the coming of Jesus and respond in time to be made safe from the trouble.  Not knowing the time will cost many believers much safety.  If you are waiting for the moment it is obvious, you will have waited to long to be safe.  Many are waiting for the moment that the end times "start"...they have already started and time is increasing and compressing.  Many will be overrun in destruction because they did not know the time.

Matthew 24:37-39  But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  38  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,  39  and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Hebrews 11:6-7  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  7  By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

If you are waiting for that moment when all the "national prophets" start saying "its time" you will have missed the ark building window.
